Conditional Processing
Conditional processing, or attribute-based profiling, means using classifying metadata that allows for filtering, flagging, searching, indexing, and other processing because of the pairing of an element with at least one value in a particular classification domain. Some of these attributes include:
- @audience
- Name of the audience
- @platform
- The operating system, hardware, etc.
- @product
- Product/component name, version, brand, etc.
- @rev
- Revision level
For more information on conditional processing, see the OASIS conditional processing webpage.
