Word 2010 Tutorial

The following tutorial guides users through how to make a booklet using Word 2010. I wrote it as a project for a software documentation writing class, using RoboHelp 8 and 9, Adobe Captivate, and SnagIt.

Process

My target audience for this tutorial were intermediate to advanced users. Therefore, I focused on the more advanced features. To do this, I framed the tutorial around creating a multi-page booklet, as in order to create one, users would have to use many of these features. I created a sample booklet, noting what steps I took to do so, and then wrote tasks based off of these steps. Additionally, I included a Captivate video of how to put together the cover design to help clarify that section.
