Portfolio

I handcoded this portfolio website with HTML5 and CSS3, using Notepad++, Photoshop CS6, and SnagIt. The final project in my web writing class, I designed this portfolio website to replace one I had created with WordPress.

Old...

I created the old version of my portfolio website at the end of 2011 using WordPress.org's Graphene theme. However, the structural elements such as the navigation as well as the formatting was hard to control and the formatting often got messed up due to glitches of some kind. Overall, though it was a good site for my purposes back then, it grew unwieldy.

...Versus New

As a part of this project, I reorganized my writing samples into categories which made more sense for my target audience. Additionally, I revamped the visual features of my website, changing the color scheme somewhat and including a lot more visuals, as well as rewriting most of the content.
